Help me Flist: Definition of Fanon ?
Did the definition of fanon change at some stage while I was becoming older and bitterer or am I just having hallucinations ?

I thought Fanon was Fan Canon ie its stuff that doesn't conflict with canon at the time its created and spreads through Fannish Osmosis but lately I've seen it being used for Fan Canon ie stuff that conflicts explicitly with canon but fans like anyway. Or was it always used for both and I just priorly only saw one use ?

So Gail Simone is apparently writing Wonder Woman, considering the relase thing sorta like a schedule for the launch arc this can't be a bad thing but the thing in the interview that made me post is this

Sucks to be Batman huh ? The other members of the Justice League get stuff that a decent Private Eye couldn't deal with, he gets auto-theft by a loony. I really shouldn't find this as amusing as I do.

Um wasn't Cass like saner last time we saw her ? She flipped out completely because Cain had another student, wtf ?

Also apparently all female killers either dress like Shiva or wear next to nothing. Now I'm trying to work out if I should be grateful that Cass went with option 1) or be sad that she had to go with 1 of the two. Um yeah not much else to say.

Edit - Or maybe dunks in Lazarus pits are way worse for your sanity than hitherto thought.
